Every internet user will know that the worst* thing about the internet is poor connection speed. This is especially true for online gaming when sometimes “life and death” hang in the balance of having a speedy broadband connection.
UME.net held an experiment to demonstrate what living with lag is like in real life. They connected headphones and a webcam to an Oculus Rift, but delayed the visual so that the user was seeing real life up to 3 seconds in delay.
It looks like a great experiment, and it’s really fun to watch – especially when bowling starts.
