Tomorrow, March 21st, is World Down Syndrome Day.
Down Syndrome is a rare disease that can be discovered in a child before birth. Obviously, this will raise some concerns amongst prospective parents, who won’t know what it’s like to deal with this.
Coor Down are a charity who exist to help both sufferers from the illness and their families. They recently received an email from a prospective parent who raised concerns about her child who was diagnosed with the illness.
See below how the charity, with help from 15 people, sent a strong response.
