Sadly this is not as easy to achieve as it sounds. A recent example of this was the on-going feud between Sky and BT Sport for rugby rights – sky refused to show BT banners around the pitch, so BT bought 2x 5 year shirt sponsorship packages for 2 of the biggest teams in Scotland, as Sky’s cameras wouldn’t be able to avoid the branding!
Now, DHL has used some innovative tech to advertise themselves on TNT, UPS and more.
Using heat-reactive paint, delivery drivers picked up large, awkward, black boxes that would attract attention to anyone who saw them. However, as the packages warmed up, the colour faded to reveal the message DHL IS FASTER.
Some of the drivers just got on with it, whilst one went to the effort to cover the message up, showing great passion!
