There has been a lot of coverage in the news about gay rights in Russia, due to the government banning “non-traditional” sexuality. The law makes providing information on homosexuality to under-18’s a crime, punishable by a fine.
The world has been calling for major event sponsors such as P&G, Coca-Cola and McDonald’s to speak out with their global voice about the situation, which is widely seen as an attack on human rights.
The Drum today put out a creative challenge, to see who could create the best marketing materials for any of the sponsors to show support of gay rights in Sochi. Below are some of my favourite images:
