The Sound of Success

In 1989, Ayrton Senna created history for Honda when he set a world record lap time at the Suzuka F1 circuit in Japan.

Not only was this a feat in itself, but the car had a new engine telementry system, meaning that all the information on the car was recorded.

Because of this, Honda were able to recreate his flying lap using speakers and lights, in a bizarre but spectacular piece of footage on a deserted track one evening.
