Smart Cities

It’s not often that a piece of advertising is physically useful.  My memories play back to the Magazine Speaker by Coca Cola, and the Heineken Bottle Opener – also a print ad.

This time however, we need to think more large-scale.

IBM’s “People For Smarter Cities” campaign added little touches that can make a whole lot of difference to a city – a bench where you didn’t expect one, a shelter from the rain, and a ramp over steps to help you with a suitcase or bicycle.

A really innovative, well thought and fun campaign.
