With the new year in full flow, dating websites always see a massive increase in subscriptions. One massive problem with dating sites is that you have to rely on whatever photos are uploaded by your “target demographic” to get an idea of what they look like, and girls uploading group photos helps nobody!
To get over this, a French dating site decided to put real single men into boxes previously used for wrapping life-sized Action Man models, and put them out around Paris, so women could get a proper look at what they were looking for!

Another campaign from Singapore allowed men to buy a beer at the bar and upload a message onto a QR code. They then flipped the code over, put it on a drink and asked the bar staff to deliver to someone in the bar anonymously. They could then scan the reversed code, read the message et voila – the ice is broken without any cheesy chat-up lines!
