Recently, this video went viral after LG installed TVs as the floor to a lift, and created a graphic that made the floor look like it was falling away, as part of a promotion to show the quality of the televisions.
Alton Towers did a similar campaign in 2012. Although it has a fraction of the popularity, with about 1 million views compared to LG’s 17 million, It can boast that it was uploaded in February and was the first to do a stunt of it’s kind. Instead of installing TVs on the floor, they relied on 3D painting to shock people into thinking they were walking into an empty lift shaft to promote their new Nemesis Sub-Terra ride.
The reactions are as fantastic as LG’s, especially as people of all ages start blaming friends and brothers that they weren’t scared and the other was!
